ERGO CUP VIDEO HIGHLIGHT OPPORTUNITY
12th Applied Ergonomics Conference March 23-26, 2009 – Reno, Nevada
Each Ergo Cup team competing at the Applied Ergonomics Conference has the opportunity to showcase their improvement in the Ergo Cup Video
that is shown to all conference participants before awards are handed out. If you wish to have your project included in this "video scrapbook", please carefully read and follow the instructions below. The
General Electric Company has generously agreed to sponsor this year's video.

Preferred formats for submissions are DV Cam, Digital Betacam or Beta SP. VHS is acceptable but the other
formats assure higher quality. You may submit up to 2 minutes of "raw" video footage, which will ultimately be
edited down by the GE video crew into a maximum total duration of 30 seconds for each team.
In addition, send Curt and Dan a cover letter that clearly identifies the start and stop points of the sequence
or sequences you wish to have placed on the video, as well as any other detailed information to make sure
your video is properly edited. Include in the cover letter any titles and project descriptions you would like to
be overlaid on the video. Typically, teams prepare 3-4 "bullet points" for the before and after project
descriptions that are faded on the screen during playback. Clearly identify which footage is the "before" situation and which footage is the "after" situation.
Any Company logos and static graphic images to be included in the video must be submitted in .GIF or .TIF format.
Send the cover letter and graphic images by email to Curt at:
curt.rossell@corporate.ge.com. If they are larger than 2MB, the GE email system may reject your submission.
Burn large files to CD-ROM and include the CD with your video footage submission package.
PLEASE NOTE: THE VIDEO AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FEBRUARY 13, 2009
